Our Story
SkyHigh Security Services was not built in a boardroom. It was built on the frontlines.
Before founding this security company in Los Angeles, John Karimi spent six years in Afghanistan working as an interpreter for the U.S. Army from 2001 to 2007. In environments where communication and cultural understanding were matters of life and death, John developed a deep sense of discipline, responsibility, and commitment to protecting others.
In 2008, John founded Koshan Karimi Logistics and Services and was awarded multiple contracts by the U.S. Army at Bagram Airfield Regional Contracting Center. His largest contract involved recruiting, training, and managing 110 security guards assigned to multiple Entry Control Points, screening every worker and contractor who entered the base each day.
That experience changed everything.
In 2021, John brought that experience to Los Angeles and founded SkyHigh Security Services, Inc. His vision was simple: to build a security company that operates with the same standards, discipline, and accountability he practiced under U.S. government contracts overseas.
